The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, by Kate Diamillo

The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane
By Kate DiCamillo
Reading level-4.4, Points-2.0
Blog Post by Alyssa, Age 10

This is a very good book because there is a china rabbit that goes to all different places and where ever he goes he stumbles across people and they keep him for a little while then he goes some where else.

So on a scale from one to five and five being the highest I would pick five because it is an awesome book!

My favorite part is when the little boy brings Edward to a shop to get him fixed and then a little girl comes in and sees him and pulls out Edwards pocket watch and sees Edward and tells her mom that is Edward and she buys him and hr goes home.

Thea Stilton and the Mystery in Paris

Thea Stilton and the Mystery in Paris

Thea Stilton and the Mystery in Paris. This story is about mice named Thea Stilton and her friends that call themselves the Thea sisters. I love this book because there is a mystery that makes you think what happens and who the culprit was. The Thea sisters go on vacation to Paris. The home town of one of the Thea sisters named Colletta. Once the go to Paris they went to one of Colletta’s friend who is a fashion designer. She had gone to a fashion school. Everyone that attended the school was not a very good designer. But one night someone broke in the office where worked and took her designs! The people that worked in the school where all suspects.

Well Colletta went under cover to talk with the other students. Well none of the students did it. The Thea sisters had no idea who could have done it. So they searched for clues.  Well they noticed that the thief took the designs. She made dresses that have parts of a map. So the thief would come back for the last piece. They heard a strange noise coming from the office. Once they got in they saw the teacher of Colletta’s friend. He said he needed the last part because it laid to a secret passage. Once they found it there where dresses with dull color and dust. They where all ruined and old. The dresses where worthless!!! There was a fashion show coming up and Colletta’s friend made a dress for each Thea sister. The dress represented the country the Thea sisters where from. The countries where Paris, China, Africa and others. They were the spot light.

I recommended you read this book because it will make you think and see what happens. Plus you never know that the person you thought would be the thief or culprit and you were wrong. There are so many surprises in this book!!! You never know what might happen next.
